First and smart - Innovate in the Tampere region

The Innovation Programme aims to identify regionally significant business development projects and support their creation. Our main projects are partly EU-funded and they are aimed mostly at machinery and metal product companies as well as welfare and IT companies. In the company growth development programme we focus also in creation of new growth companies.

Now and in the near future we need to invest in the development of new and in the modernization of old. In other words, in innovations which are related not only to new products, services and solutions, but to entire business solutions and models. During the next years we should focus in increasing the capacity of modernization of the companies, so that they can more quickly and effectively respond to the accelerating pace of change.
