Metso Corporation's press release on May 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. local time Finland's largest pellet-fired heating plant, which was supplied by Metso to Tampereen Energiantuotanto Oy, Tampere, is based on a technological solution that is the first of its kind in the country. It will bring new opportunities to gear the structure of Finnish district heat production towards the goals of sustainable development. Previously, peak load plants have been using fossil fuels because there was no other technology available.
This year's conference themes are glass technology, design and sustainability. The conference will be organized June 13-15 and the related workshops June 11-12.

The restaurant services, in turn, will be taken to new heights with Hans Välimäki’s Midhill restaurant.
